Dog Poop and Golf!

For all you mothers out there...has there ever been a time where you want to scream your guts out your kids but all you can do is laugh!

My dear son had his friends over to play...I was downstairs viewing and editing photos when he screamed from his playroom "mom the dog pooped in my play room" my response "Dylan don't touch it I will be there in just a second to retrieve the poop, do NOT touch it" ! I gave myself a few minutes to finish one last touch up, Bella Dylan's little friend came down stairs green as green could be...I asked her what was wrong she said the that Dylan swatted the poop and that it really smelled BAD, I said "it's just poop it's not that bad". I made my way to the playroom...ok I could smell it as soon as I got to the top of the stairs. As I came around the corner, I began to see speckle pieces of crap all over the walls and floor! I asked the kids what the heck was going and why was there dog poop everywhere, their response "Dylan putted the poop with the golf club"! Yes that's right a nine iron to the poop! I could feel the rage in my face... I was so mad all I could do is laugh and gag as I cleaned the poop from the walls, door and floor. What else could I do?

I couldn't resist taking a picture of my little handyman.  Dylan created his own tool belt just like the one his Daddy is using to finish the basement.  Very Creative!

Catch Up!

Wow! What a summer...it flew by so fast. I thought I should update my blog. About time! We had a very busy summer, we spent 3 days in Disneyland, Kevin finished our fabulous waterfall in the back yard and Dylan spent a lot time with his new friends in the neighborhood.

Disneyland was a blast. Dylan said he wanted to move there, wouldn't that be great to live in the "Happiest Place on Earth"!

New Years in Hawaii.....2008

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! As a family we spent 16 days on the island of Kauai. The kids had a blast, they loved the beach, playing in the waves and sand. We went on cruises, to the beach and to a really cool Luau. Most of all we really enjoyed the time away from the main land and the SNOW!Comment:On New Years Eve we went to a Luau at the Smith Family Gardens - I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to experience a real Luau. The Gardens were amazing and the Pig ceremony or ritual was very cool - not to mention the food was fabulous!
